For my part I love being a dad. So many shared memories and so many more to build. My Dad was, and continues to be, a great role model to me and my brothers and we have done our best to live up to those standards with our sons and daughters. Never perfectly, but the intent was always there and that is all you can ask for.
While perfection may elude us, there are some special moments that almost reach that hallowed pinnacle. That place in time that will live forever in our memories to be celebrated in stories for years to come, and called upon to bring us good cheer when we need it the most. For me, many of those moments included times in the field or on the water with my sons. These great times were further memorialized over a campfire, a great meal, a cold beer, or a nice bottle of wine as the spirits chimed in and made our stories even grander!
Fun fact: Our original Field Vault (Field Vault V2 - Black Walnut) was developed so I could secure our shotguns while on hunting/shooting trips with my sons. I felt uncomfortable traveling with 3 – 6 guns sitting in the back of our SUV and that was what spurred the creation of Sporting LTD. Each Field Vault can secure up to 3 shotguns!
