After the World FITASC in Cyprus, I had the good fortune to sit next to Tamas Jeri on a connecting flight from Athens to Budapest.  As I was licking my wounds and trying to figure out how I could better prepare for an event like this, you can only imagine what it was like to hear first-hand from Tamas his story and his approach to the game.  Tamas finished in the top 12 in Cyprus right along side Zach Kienbaum, Gebben Miles and Nick Berry some of the greats of the game.  Tamas holds many international titles and is infamous for setting the targets for the 2023 World FITASC in Gant Hungary – targets people are still talking about today.  He also owns The Jerring Shooting grounds which is located an easy two-hour car ride from Budapest.  Gebben & Karen Miles sent me there in 2023 for practice before the main event and I swear it was some of the most fun I ever had with a shotgun.  A chance arrival at the same time as the great Reno Verde of the New Zealand team led to hours of shooting some brilliant targets together - shot off fire towers, bouncing on the water and everything in between. It was so much fun that I had been telling that story for years – and this is the gentleman I was shooting next to on the plane.  This is not only a great game, but a truly incredible community.

I found my way back to Jerring again during this visit to Budapest and with the words of Tamas in my ears, created some more great memories!
