Designed for the serious tournament shooter. Easy to carry through the airport or into the hotel and quick to secure in the back of your vehicle, a rental car, or in your hotel room.
This new version was designed for the US Sporting Clays Team to help make traveling with a shotgun easier and more secure for the Team. Brian Booth (an Honorary Team Captain) experienced the challenges or traveling with a shotgun with the Team throughout Italy, England, Hungary, Spain and the United States. He has designed this Vault as a direct result of these experiences, tweaking & modifying the prototypes after each trip. Now it is available to our customers.
The Tournament Vaults are streamlined versions of the Field Vault with the same internal locking system, but it is designed to fit a single Negrini-style, multiple barrel gun case (1646 series) or a Negrini double shotgun case (1622 series). Chances are your current gun case or the case that came with your shotgun will fit just fine. Dimensions are L 40’x W 10” x H 6 ½”. It has heavy duty backpack straps to comfortably accommodate & distribute the weight of multiple barrels, allowing you to keep your hands free for your other gear. These straps have a dedicated sleeve for storage that enables snag free progress through the luggage carousel. It also has a Velcro flap on top to secure the exterior lock when it is not needed.
